The Clayton Shorthouse Memorial Triathlon is back for 2026 at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre!
Join us in honouring the memory of our late friend, Clayton Shorthouse, by taking part in this very special event at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre.
This triathlon is ideal for beginners and features a range of races, including a Junior Aquathlon for children aged 8 - 14 years:
Relay Event:400m Swim, 10km Cycle & 2.5km Run (£30 per team / £10 per person)
Super Sprint: 400m Swim, 10km Cycle & 2.5km Run (£15 per person)
TriStar Start (8 years): 50m Swim & 600m Run (£5 per person plus £2 for the British Triathlon Race Pass)
TriStar 1 (9 - 10 years): 150m Swim & 1.5km Run (£5 per person plus £2 for the British Triathlon Race Pass)
TriStar 2 (11 - 12 years): 200m Swim & 2km Run (£5 per person plus £2 for the British Triathlon Race Pass)
TriStar 3 (13 - 14 years): 300m Swim & 3km Run (£5 per person plus £2 for the British Triathlon Race Pass)
Please note that for the TriStar events the age is based on the athlete’s age on 31st December of the race year.
The course is well-supported with numerous volunteers ensuring participants have a smooth and enjoyable experience.
All proceeds will go to North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation & Aftercare Charity.
